The idea of witches and magic has been around for centuries, the first mention of one being in the bible over 600 years before the common era. Witches have always been seen as this evil being that can perform magic against the fate of others and have a connection to the undead. Today they are mostly seen as folklore, a fun Halloween costume, or a fun fantasy element to a storyline. But is there some truth to witchcraft that our world just can't seem to explain yet? Most people connect the idea of witchcraft to the Salem Witch Trials where many people would kill young girls and women who they believed to be witches. This started when two young girls began convulsing and having delusions, which we now believe is due to a medical reason. They would put these women through tests in order to determine whether they were a witch or not, which would ultimately end up in their deaths no matter what.
